This sounds interesting, but to implement it via Medium you would need - if I understand aright - (1) to check the 'email to my subscribers' only on your most shit-hot posting of the week (Oh, how to choose among my myriad brilliant babies? I feel worse than Sophie!).
And (2) you need the potential subscriber to read, understand, digest, believe and act on the invitation to sign up to a different mechanic than they're used to.
Is that right?
I see (1) as a slight inconvenience (in that I would forget), but (2) as the bigger barrier, based on my pink belt in human psychology.
Or maybe I've missed the point. I'm 10,000 words into proofreading a full-service systems integration consultancy's corporate presentation so far today, and my brain may be suffering a minor malfunction.
