But has now hit a brick wall, mainly through their dumb application of - or complete disregard for - the data to which they have access, and in fact process for various purposes.
Obstinacy, arrogance, refusal to listen or learn. And believe me, I know whereof I speak!
Expansion of the Boost programme continues apace. But what does that mean? It's a basic principle of inflation: if you give out more banknotes, each one is worth less. Or you restrict supply and those who were used to getting 20 boosts a month are getting 10 and (a) reduce their editing input, thereby reducing content quality, or (b) say 'screw you' and leave, so you start training up noobs to do the job.
Which is how a cheap burger joint functions. Hardly the ideal human resource model to follow, I'd say.
Then again, it worked for Lester Burnham. Until it didn't.
