Top tip to Medium: don't follow suit! This - and the unseemly haste with which Substack has added a 'Tiktokers' category to its home page, despite long-standing requests from loyal early adopters for other more relevant and viable categories - seems to have gone down like a bucket of cold sick with regular users, from what I can see.
It just smacks of Muskian 'we're so disruptive, smashing up the landscape, flashing the cash!' techbro bravado.
