We went on a short family horse ride through the woods a year or so ago. Very sedate - my son got the lazy laggard. I was hoping to maybe get into it as a regular thing. My thighs had other ideas, and busy schedules intervened more than anything. Maybe I'll try again - they're supposed to be setting up a riding school closer to home which could tempt me back in. I love the idea of it, which is the first step on the journey, I guess.
