Yeah, this was the real kick in the teeth. They made changes they didn't have to, they messed it up, they didn't test or simulate before going live, and gave the impression that the changes meant that this wasn't just for fun - it might actually pay a few bills, especially for those of us who are still in our first year, say, and can expect a slight upward curve as out regular readership grows.
And then we found out they got all the numbers wrong, had put the decimal point in the wrong place like a third-grader, and it was all a lie.
Ho hum.
