Yes, I presume that is the reason behind the reluctance to invest in algo upgrades - a (justified) lack of confidence in the platform's ability to remain a step ahead of the bad agents.

Others have suggested, with some justification, that 'writers who have had x number of boosts and so have proven their worth could be given privileged status, and be pushed more' in the way I suggest here.

My first thought in response is that you would then have people creating off-the-shelf accounts, hiring good writers to knock out a few boosts for them, before then turning them over to spammers to post any old crap and ride on the coat-tails of those first few.

There is always a way to game the system.

This is why we can't have nice things, as they say.
