Yes, it's not really a practical occurrence anyway, given that these things are always organised at the family level. It would work if it were among colleagues, and someone actually noted it down in the corporate SharePoint for next year!

The other fun thing about the bean, is that the French term fève, just meaning broad (fava) bean, has taken on a secondary meaning as 'the token you find in a Christmas/Epiphany cake', even if it is in fact a figurine, sixpence or whatever.

Maybe I should write a 'When is Bean Not a Bean?' follow-up...
